I had wanted to visit the Santa Maria de la Cabeza Castle for a long time; I was filled with curiosity every time I saw the small chapel from Bartolome Salom Street. I started doing some research to find out where the entrance to these ancient ruins was, and I walked through the Historic District in search of useful information to help me reach my goal. Surprisingly, there were passersby who were just as lost as I was; they even sent me to San Francisco Street and around Plaza Ribero.

It was a fine Saturday morning. I was off from the duty till evening. So as we all know about the devastated flash flood that took place in Nepal 4 days back. So, in search of peace and to pray for the lost lives and well being of the missing ones, I decided to pay at the holy Maulakalika temple located at the nearby Nawalparasi east district of mid Nepal.
