Hey, hey! This is , and I am pleased to bring you a brand new edition of #TravelDigest! ❤️
Today's post is going to take you on a virtual tour with stops at a church in Portugal, a castle in Italy, and an island in Malta. We also have the honourable mentions list, where you can get a few more travel postcards from Bangladesh, Venezuela, Portugal, and Indonesia, so don't forget to check these posts too! 😊
We contined into a small room that was quite empty except for some paintings. Through a frame of wooden lattice, we could look into the church. When we entered through a small door, I went wow!! It was stunning. You actually just stand their in awe. After a littel while of just standing there to ake it all inn, I did take a walk along the walls. I had to look up on to the ceiling too, to admire the exquisite woodwork. It is impressive.

CASTELLO MURAT does not resemble the fairy-tale castles with tall towers and richly decorated facades. Its architecture is very austere and simple, yet at the same time it gives the impression of being incredibly solid. The small windows, the round defensive tower, the massive stone walls and the overall simplicity of the structure clearly show that functionality was once far more important than appearance.

In the evening I headed towards the Sanctuary and Basilica of Ta' Pinu. It was built between two villages in an open area. It is famous for the miracles and voices that were heard here.I particularly liked the semicircular approach, adorned with mosaics depicting biblical scenes. There are many statues that look magnificent, especially at dusk—the time when I visited.
