Hidden Treasure Views From Seas to Dry Land in Purok Bougainvillea Calangahan Lugait, Misamis Oriental Mindanao Philippines
Greetings Hive travelers around the World. Another great and adventurous Day I did this morning when I decided to visit nearby Coastal and Dry areas here in Purok Bougainvillea located at Barangay Calangahan Lugait, Misamis Oriental Mindanao Philippines. Visiting this areas makes me more relaxing and calm because of the wonderful views and I really preferred to visit during low tide. It was 8 in the morning when I arrived at the place and exactly what I've expected because low tide was already happens. Every low tide, lots of sea animals can be seen and found just like this dangerous Sea Urchin. It contains very sharp thing with black color and it really scared to see. It hid under the big solid corals and it only comes out during high tide.
Rock pools are also expected if the low tide happens, there are Hundreds of rock pools can be seen and found here and some of it are very deep contains lots of fine sands and peebles. Aside of that, trapped small fish, shrimps, crabs and seas shells can also found hiding underneath the corals and some of it are at the rock holes. There are sea weeds everywhere grows at the coral rocks and most of all the crystal clear sea water tempting for those who wants to visit here.
Small light and wooden boats are expected to see here, all of it contains different kinds of designs and colors so fishermen can easily identified their own boat. Every low tide, they placed somewhere that make their boats safe from rough and big waves. They also tied big kinds of ropes so it wont washed away by tides everytime when it happens here. Some of the boats here are used for fishing activities and some of it also are only used for tourism attraction where tourists can ride and set sailing to the sea. Boats are made of light materials just like plywoods and bamboo pieces, small lumbers are also well supported that served as a foundation of the boat.
This coastal areas contains lots of big rocks and corals, lots of sea animals hid here and only parts here are filled with fine sands and peebles. But despite of the rocky situations, there are lots of people always love to visit here including me. The time when I visited here, it makes me more relaxing and peaceful. This dry surface here will completely submerged by sea water every high tide and no single rocks will left. It is a very deep parts of the sea here when high tides happens.
Rock walls are perfectly built here to help secured the dry land and to avoid collapsing it everytime when big waves happens here. The structural foundation os supported with tons of rocks filled with concrete so the structure will become durable and cannot easily broke and destroyed due to big waves. This structures was built 45 years ago, according to my Mother and it is still intact until now-a-days. The big rocks supported in this walls are now covered with moss and sea weeds where crabs also hid on rock hopes and in the sands.
If we talked about sands here, there only small parts of the shore where sands can be located. Those beach goers who brings children will be very fit here playing a sand castle because of the brown fine sands. But under of it are bug rocks and corals that is why everytime when big waves washed away the sands, big rocks will still remains at the place.
Near at the shore is the very tall cliff composted with solid rocks just like walls. This rock walls are Natural made and at the top of it are tall trees and wild grass grows. Some of the trees grows here are already bonsais and the roots are started to covered the entire cliffs. Lots of dangerous animals like snakes hid on the rock holes and few insects like bees also flew here.
If we truly visited coastal areas and its neighboring site, we can truly say that Nature gives us a wonderful gift that served as a hidden treasure and gems. Until next post, enjoy traveling everyone.
