@digi-meEureka House / Maison Creole is a restored 19th century mansion of historical significanse to the island. It is located in Moka, almost in the center of the island. A visit to this magnificent mansion gives a good idea of colonial life in the 1800s. The house is has a lush garden with lots of diffent species of trees and plants. In adition, it's located by Moka River and with acces from the garden to some small waterfalls. A few weeks ago, i desided to visit. Mauritius has quite a few restored mansions and creole houses that dates back to the beginning of the 1800s. This was when the island was under French colonial power. At that time the sugar industri was the bais of the economy. A few people became quite wealthy, which you will see when you visit some of the old houses.

@biologistbritoThe main reason why people visit these beaches so many times, which in total are more than (10) with 8km of extension, is perhaps the location is in a privileged area in terms of geographical location! It is just under 15 minutes by car from the center of Lisbon and just under 20 minutes by car from Setubal, the southernmost area of Lisbon, that is, it is the most central beach of all these surroundings. The climate is pleasant in summer with lots of sun and despite being Atlantic, the contrast of heat with the cold water is not unpleasant. There is always public transport, it is protected by lifeguards and has an extensive line of restaurants of all kinds.😮🧭🤑🏔️
