I have had a difficult life, I have to admit it. I had a lot of so called ‘tough lessons’ pretty early on and I now realise/ accept that everything is and was how it should have been or is, and I see/realise and understand how all of my choices have led me to where I am now.
I sometimes sit and dwell on the past and wish I had made different choices, but what is the point of that? I see how I have set up a system of perfection within myself, where I strive to make the situation I am in perfect for me in every way, positive and successful in every moment, without seeing realising and understanding how I am setting myself up to fail.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to dwell in the past within this regret my past so called mistakes.
I forgive myself that I haven’t seen/realised and understood how I have been and am being exceptionally hard on myself.
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to create a belief within and as me that if something or myself isn’t perfect and 100% in every way, as I have defined it, then I must be a failure.
I forgive myself that I haven’t seen/realised and understood how my seeking perfection has led me to now, where I am actually achieving perfection, but not as my definition of perfection.
I see/realise and understand how I am exactly standing in and as perfection as life within myself, and that the external seeking of it has been creating a polarity and sabotaging effect within and as myself.
I hereby commit myself to keep walking each day in the breath of life within and as me and I drop the regret of past mistakes and the insecurity I have created within myself as someone that has not been good enough or a failure in life.
