Franka always had a frown on. She was 11years old when she found out that her smile was toxic and disastrous. Her parents were very worried about her and how her life would be like when she grows up.
The people that were close to her knew about it but those that weren't always made fun of her.
"Hey girl, why do you keep frowning" they'd say throwing something at her. Little did they know that it just requjred her to smile and that would be it.
Franka was a very fun person to be with. When she spoke she ensured that a smile was out on people's face. If she couldn't see one on her face, why not see it on another's face.
Her smile was toxic in the sense that, whenever she smiled, people would develop an internal itching and drop dead from coarse scratching of their skins. They always tried to scratch into their skins and that way, they killed themselves with their own hands.
She wasn't born this way. She was born a happy, vibrant child. Always playing and laughing around up until she turned 11. She lost a whole lot of friends because of her smile. Franka wasn't a murderer and so she tried as much as possible to avoid people who would try to turn her frown upsidedown.
Then came Greene. Greene was a bug time bully and he always taunted Franka. Calling her all sorts of name like weirdo, party pooper, jungle girl and what not. The jungle girl part was true tho, because Franka never really cared how she appeared. Her hair was unkempt, clothes were tartard. She had no one to impress after all.
Every soul hated Greene including his so called friends. He was very arrogant and always acted like a demi-god. He wanted everyone to worship him and now at his feet. Some lectures were even afraid if him too. Franka was no exception. She hated him but he kept making life in school a living hell for Franka.
"Hey weirdo, get your ass to my table now" Greene said while hitting her head with a baseball, everyone in the cafeteria burst out in laughter. Franka obeyed and walked slowly towards his table.
"Sit down!" He ordered and she obeyed.
"Now tell me, man to man why you don't smile. Yes! I said man to man because whenever you wear a frown you look like a man" another round of laughter emerged.
All these while, Franka was looking down. It seems like she had even forgotten how to smile.
"You want to know why I don't smile?" she asked, lifting her head and looking Greene straight in the eyes.
"This is why I don't smile" she said while smiling.
Pexel
"Oh my! She looks like a frog when she smiles, little wonder she doesn't smile" Greene said while laughing alongside everyone.
Two minutes later, his body started itching.
" Oh! Oh my! Get me water! Help me. It really hurt". Now that was a funny scene because no one had ever seen Greene so disoriented before. At first, they all thought he was acting drama but when tears started rolling down his eyes people brought out their phones to video.
#the bully in disarray. #tears from Greene's eyes.
Franka picked up her bag and walked out of the hall, heading home.
The Saturday news was obviously about a boy, Greene who died itching and Franka's parents turned to look at her. She shrugged and said
"He asked for it and so I gave it to him" literally.
That was the end of Greene. Peace was bestowed back to school but Franka kept living with the guilt that she was a murderer. Other students suspected same and so no one dared utter a word to her. That was a good thing and also a bad thing. The life was her and she has to live it.
