It's yet another Tuesday and a great day to share our tunes with fellow music lovers. #threetunetuesday is an initiative courtesy of @ablaze. The initiative is about sharing three tunes every Tuesday; sounds fun right?.
With that, I have three amazing tunes to share with you today. These tunes have a different feel to them. There are very many underrated artists out there and one of such artists was Jon Bellion. I'm a fan of Jon's music because of how different and spectacular they are. I feel that over the years, Jon Bellion's songs have gained more traction and as such he doesn't qualify for my list of underrated artists,hehe.
Without further ado, I present to you the artists for the week. I think have good songs but not so many people know about them;
Grizfolk is a Swedish-American band of five members who specialise in alternative rock. Hymnals was one of the first songs I heard from them. At first, I thought it was a Christian worship song because of the title "hymnals'' which means a collection of hymns but the song has an entirely different meaning.
For me, the song talks about hope. For you to succeed, you have to face your fears head on. Sometimes, the risk involved may be huge but then again, it is either you take the risk or you spend the rest of your days regretting the fact that you didn't. What is it going to be? You chose.
Oh Wonder are an English pop duo. I came across the song "ultralife" without seeing the music video and I kept wondering why the male voice kept backing up the female voice in every single line. I did my little research and it turns out that they are a couple who sing together every time. A very interesting style of music.
Ultralife is a song about human relationships. Has there ever been a time when you had a very good friend or partner and you concluded that nothing could ever go wrong? That moment is a really priceless moment as happiness is all you feel. Ultralife is a song that captures such moments.
I watched the song video recently and I must say that it is a simple yet original video. If one looks closely, they would notice the talents embedded in the video judging from the year the song was released.
If I were to describe Juke Ross in one word, it would be spectacular. His song Not a blade of grass was randomly brought to me by my music player and I was impressed. Juke is one artist with amazing vocals and an awesome composure. His voice can only remind you of the good part of life. He specialises in folk-pop and as I went through his album, my liking for his music increased. If you're looking for songs that are soothing then Juke is the guy for you.
Hey lil' mama is also a song about human relationships by extension. There are times when you remember a long lost friend and all you can do is wish them well as you probably do not have a way to get in contact with them anymore. This song captures such moments. @depressedfuckup, what do you think of this piece? Soothing, right?
I hope you liked my tunes for this week.Which was your favourite tune? I'd love to listen to your tunes too if you do not mind sharing them.
