I went to my favorite coin shoppe this past Wednesday to do a little shopping. I picked up a few silver dollars and checked out the bid board. While I was there I also went through their junk silver box, these are old items that didn't sell on the bid board and are going to be scraped. I found this cool looking Star of David pendant crafted in Israel. It's gilted sterling silver (gold tone) with a torquois cabochon stone in the center. The filigree work is amazing and I got this for $1.75 plus tax. I checked on eBay to see if they had any of these for sale and I found a few, not as nice as mine, for around $25. Sometimes it's good to go poking around in junk boxes, no matter where you are. Too bad I don't know anybody that would appreciate this beautiful piece.
