A White Burgundy, from the Burgundy region of France. 100% Chardonnay. Weak on the nose, but easy drinking, and refreshing. It is amazing how the monks have figured out this small region in eastern France. They where huge Wine Nerds! They figured out which wines would do what where. Even down to a row of vines! It is quite amazing, and we can enjoy their hard work they did centuries ago today. The prices for Burgundy wines are going up, and holding their value. But just like anything, you better be ready to shill out a nice chunk if you are going to seek out wine as an investment.
Making $$ is fun, but drinking great wine is just as fun. The best part about it is you don't have to be rich to enjoy some of the best out there. But there might be a day where only the rich can afford to drink wines from Bourgogne. Which would suck, but there are other regions out there that rival this region, and I will be happy to share them with you. CHEERS!!
