Two hours of reading the monthly Ham radio magazine, QST, was a welcomed break from the normal finance-irritating politics-social media routine. Unlike the vacuum tube days when I became interested in radio, everything is state-of-the-art digital now and it is all even more interesting! The best things don’t change and I still prefer Morse code to voice. After all, Morse code CW was the first digital communications mode!
