Back on Hive after a long time [ENG/ESP]

Hi, friends, how was your week? It’s been quite a while since I’ve written here—the last time was a little over two years ago. Yeah, that’s a long time. But for the past few days, I’ve been thinking about Hive, about writing again, and about catching up on my blog. I just hadn’t had the time to do it. But at the end of the day, time doesn’t change, and the more I put it off, the more time passes.

And that’s why I’m here. A few months ago, I logged in and read a post by someone I honestly don’t remember, but they said something that was very true: that you always come back to Hive—you always find a way back, or something along those lines— and it’s true—even though I’ve been focused on other things these past few years, Hive and writing again were always on my mind. Plus, my wife is still active here, and that means we occasionally talk about this platform that’s been a part of my life for several years.

If we’re being completely honest, I have to say that you’re not on Hive for the profits you make, because even though your voice isn’t as strong right now as it was a few years ago, you know you’re on Hive and write on Hive out of the affection you have for the platform. At least I’ve learned so many things here that will always make me grateful, and it’s been a generous social network to me, so coming back means making time to do something I enjoy, in a place that has given me so much.

With all this in mind, I wanted to come back here to share things about myself and what I like again, bringing life to this place where—unlike other social networks—there’s no toxicity, just people sharing what they like and what they know, and always receiving positive comments that motivate them to keep doing it. Yes, that was another reason to come back, and I’m going to do my best to contribute, even if it’s just a little bit, to this platform.

I’ll keep sharing the same things about myself as before—some day-to-day stuff, as well as repairs and maintenance of appliances and equipment from time to time (which is what I do for a living), and—why not?—various other things I enjoy doing. I hope to contribute something positive here. Thank you for reading my post and for your support.

Hola amigos, ¿que tal ha ido su semana? Hace bastante que no escribo por aquí, la última vez que lo hice fue poco más de dos años, si, eso es mucho. Pero hace varios días que vengo pensando en hive, en volver a escribir y en ponerme al día con mi blog, solo que no había tenido el tiempo para hacerlo, solo que a fin de cuentas, el tiempo sigue siendo el mismo y mientras más lo pospongo más pasa.

Y por eso estoy aquí, hace varios meses entré y leí una publicación de alguien que en serio no me acuerdo, pero decía algo que era muy cierto y era que uno siempre regresa a hive, siempre consigue el camino para volver o algo así por el estilo, y es verdad, incluso aunque he estado estos años pendiente de otras cosas, siempre pasaba por mi mente hive y escribir de nuevo, además de que mi esposa sigue activa aquí y eso hace que de vez en cuando hablemos de esta plataforma que durante varios años ha formado parte de mi vida.

Si nos ponemos en un bien sincero debo decir que uno no está en Hive por las ganancias que obtiene, porque aunque tu voz un momento ahorita no está tan bien como hace unos años, uno sabe que está en Hive y escribe el Hive por el cariño que le tiene a la plataforma, por lo menos yo he aprendido tantas cosas aquí, que siempre me harán estar agradecido y ha sido una red social generosa conmigo, así que volver es, sacar el tiempo para hacer algo que me gusta hacer, en un lugar que me dio mucho.

Teniendo en cuenta todo esto quise volver aquí para compartir cosas de mi y de lo que me gusta otra vez, haciendo vida en este lugar que a diferencia de las otras redes sociales no hay toxicidad sino gente que comparte lo que le gusta y lo que sabe y siempre obtiene comentarios buenos que lo motivan a seguir haciéndolo. Si, esa fue otra razón para volver, y voy a hacer ll posible por aportar también aunque sea un granito a esta plataforma.

Seguiré compartiendo de mi las mismas cosas dde antes, algunas cosas del día a día, también reparaciones y mantenimientos de electrodomésticos y equipos de vez en cuando (qué es a lo que me dedico mayormente), y porque no, otras varias cosas que disfruto hacer, espero poder aportar cosas buenas por aquí.
