📘 Zambezi Diary
Day 24: Windows to the Road, and to the Heart

Lately, I’ve been traveling a lot for work.
Today’s post is a soft pause—a moment to share four small scenes I captured on the road in Tete, Mozambique 🇲🇿.(It took me two hours to write the final draft)
Let’s take a ride together—through the lens, and maybe through a few moods too.
📍 Photo 1:Driving through Tete
This morning, the road was quiet, the light was soft, and there was no rush.
No dramatic views, just a peaceful stretch that slowly opened up my thoughts.
Sometimes, it’s not the destination that moves us—but the grace of simply being on the way.

✈ Photo 2:Farewell to two colleagues Nanjing Girls
Yesterday, we saw off two lovely teammates as they began their international business trip—from Mozambique 🇲🇿 to South Africa 🇿🇦, Dubai 🇦🇪, and finally Beijing 🇨🇳.
No formal send-off, just a small bouquet, warm hugs, and the hope that they carry our pride with them, even above the clouds.

🌧 Photo 3:Rain on the car window
It started to drizzle on my way home. I stayed in the car longer than I needed to, watching raindrops slide slowly down the glass.
It wasn’t just rain—it felt like the kind that asks you to pause, to breathe, to let go quietly.

🌞 Photo 4:Morning sunlight on the car ahead
This morning, golden light fell across the rear window of the car in front of me.
Nothing grand. Just a moment that said: “Today might be gentle.”
And sometimes, that’s all we need.

🌀 Four frames, four feelings—movement, goodbye, stillness, hope.
Through the window, I didn’t just see the road.
I saw the shape of my day, and maybe, the softness of myself.

💬 Let’s connect:
