STEPN's GOALS AND OPERATION
STEPN is a web-app developed for web 3.0 with the objective of improving users' health and the environment by encouraging physical activity through a Game-Fi and Social-Fi system.
It is a project that implements a "green" philosophy within the crypto world, in particular on Solana.
With STEPN the user is granted GST tokens when he walks, strolls or runs outside; the route taken and the distances covered are monitored by the application through the GPS of the user's smartphone.
OBIETTIVI E FUNZIONAMENTO DI STEPN
STEPN è una web-app sviluppata per il web 3.0 con l'obiettivo di migliorare la salute degli utenti e l'ambiente incentivando l'attività fisica attraverso un sistema Game-Fi e Social-Fi.
Si tratta di un progetto che implementa una filosofia "green" all'interno del mondo crypto, in particolare su Solana.
Con STEPN all'utente vengono riconosciuti Token GST quando cammina, passeggia o corre all'esterno; il percorso fatto e le distanze percorse vengono monitorate dall'applicazione tramite il GPS dello smartphone dell'utente.
In order to use the app, the user must purchase a pair of NFT shoes that can be purchased directly from the platform.
The gain per kilometer depends on the rarity of the NFT that is used during the user's physical activity.
Per poter utilizzare l'applicazione l'utente deve acquistare un paio di scarpe NFT acquistabili direttamente dalla piattaforma.
Il guadagno per chilometro dipende dalla rarità dell'NFT che viene utilizzato durante l'attività fisica dell'utente.
The application is based on two native tokens, GST and GMT, the former is distributed to players and does not have a max-supply, the latter can be purchased and held in order to be part of STEPN governance.

Il token GST non avendo una max-supply viene bruciato dagli utenti comprando NFT o facendone l'upgrade, oppure trasformando GST in USDC.
Il token GMT ha una max supply di 10 miliardi di GMT e un circolante di 256 milioni di GMT.
In futuro sarà possibile affittare gratuitamente gli NFT scarpe per poter cominciare a guadagnare, allo stesso modo chi metterà in affitto il proprio NFT riceverà una parte del compenso.

A point that I like a lot is the speed and the medium-term goals of this project that I think will allow it to climb the coin rankings very easily.
An aspect that I don't like very much is that GMT seems to be (for the moment) very inflationary and the price of NFT is really too high, maybe with the "rent" mode it will really become more accessible to everyone.
Un punto che mi piace molto è la rapidità e gli obiettivi medio-termine di questo progetto che secondo me gli permetteranno di scalare la classifica delle coin con molta facilità.
Un aspetto che non mi piace molto è che GMT sembra essere (per il momento) molto inflativo e il prezzo degli NFT è davvero troppo alto, forse con la modalità "rent" diventerà davvero più accessibile a tutti.
