First of all, I had to say that it is the first time that I venture into this work that leads to another style of photography, where images of catalog products and those used for social networks such as Instagram are highlighted. I started a job a few weeks ago, in which I opted for an advertisement from a variety store looking for photographers. At first glance it seemed strange to me but in reality many stores now have their own equipment that carries everything related to recording and photography. of products.
In this case, this store has a marketing department, made up of 3 people, including myself, while the other people have the positions of graphic designer and content creator for Instagram and TikTok, the necessary equipment to promote the products that are sold, in addition to the fact that these photographs are used to create internal catalogs of the same store.
However, this is a style of photography that I do not usually do, with certain exceptions of which I experimented or even in my university studies when we did product photography practices, but it never caught my attention, and now I find myself working within of this area that is very different from the photographs that I usually take such as urban, architectural photography and among other styles.
For this occasion I wanted to show you this series of photographs of different stationery products, specifically products from the Pointer brand, which has a variety of products such as pens, pencil sharpeners and among others. Although the store has many things for sale, from plastics, holiday products, household products, confectionery and others.
On the other hand, in my work area I have a light box necessary to carry out photo sessions of the different products, a light box that measures 60 cm x 60 cm, suitable for most products that are usually of sizes little ones.
