Since the beginning of photography, which was in black and white, at that time until now, it has never ceased to be a favourite technique for professional and amateur photographers, and although photography always seeks to emulate the human eye, monochrome is a perspective that will always be very striking for everyone, because of that very different approach in its composition.
Such is the case of these 5 black and white photographs of the publication, starting with the cover photo, which I found an interesting approach in the image I captured that contrasts the monochromatic with the structuring of the figure of what would be the interior of a building, also helped with the entry of natural light through the windows, creating an interesting perspective to capture.

What I like about this photograph is the contrast and detail between the clouds and the sky, and although it is not possible to detail the colour range, which is highlighted by the intense blue of the sky and the white of the clouds, in this case the aim is to create that contrast that monochrome gives us, in order to create that different atmosphere captured in the image.
Also, the intensity of the Sun is captured, although in this occasion I help myself with the window, as a great filter, because by the same intensity of the Sun and by the hour, it is not possible to find a greater detail of the image when the Sun is in the photographic frame.

In this photograph, where the main protagonist is our great moon, we may think that it was taken late at night, but in reality it was only a few minutes before sunset, so the moon was already rising over a sky that was still daylight, although the photograph is in black and white, the background is darker and of course gives better detail to the craters of the moon.

In this case, with a very close-up of what looks like a human eye, I still insist on the details of contrast that the black and white gives us, for me they are to my taste, as well as recreating the emotion of the moment, which can be said that by the expression of the eye, a slightly sad or perhaps nostalgic atmosphere is created, and the strength of the look in the image.

Finally, and also important, is monochromatic photography in nature, as I have always said in the case of landscapes, it is more striking in colour, but it is still interesting when the landscape is in black and white, as in the case of this photograph, where you can appreciate the details of this beautiful tree, which marks all over the trunk those features that pass through time.
