I've always been fascinated by silhouettes of anything and everything, but I'm most drawn to the small details you can find, from wire fencing and tree branches to, of course, the silhouettes of small birds on branches. They're perfect, without a doubt, and the contrast with the sky, which almost turns white, creates a beautiful harmony in black and white. Or at least, that's how it is for me. It's something I like to capture, even more than other subjects that might be more eye-catching.
Before, or at the beginning, when I started taking photographs, I only used to take pictures of large landscapes, like when I went to certain mountains or beaches. Those were my only subjects at the time, but then I started discovering the details, and that completely changed my perspective on photography. It was like discovering a whole universe to explore. It's something you can find anywhere, even in your own home; you just have to look closely. It's easy, really.
Although it also depends on the light itself—whether it's backlit, has reflections, or something else that adds that touch of illumination to better appreciate it—that's how I delve into this world, because in reality, everything we see is purely visual, in harmony and form.
