I've continued this streak of posting black and white photographs, but it's not for nothing that taking photos in this style is always magical. It's not that I don't like color photography, but black and white definitely has a magic that we all love, so simple, without giving too many explanations as to why. It's simply a pleasure I have when composing any of these scenes.
This time it's simple: these photographs are based on any motif, but not human or animal. They're details of things I capture on the street, such as the contrast between buildings and the shadows created between them. Also, a bit of nature, as well as other interesting scenes. Perhaps not with the same application as other photographs where there are points that can be enhanced, such as the shadow element, but they do, in a certain way, capture what exists in that scene.
I've always said, at the end of the day, photography is a free routine, which of course has its rules, but ultimately is bound by the most important rule: creating harmony in the frame. That's why you don't have to be too strict about what you know about these rules when composing, but rather create those compositions based on how they harmonize.
All photographs are mine.
