I'm one of the rare 24 year olds who still doesn't have a smartphone in 2017.
And here are 3 reasons why
1. I want to have my head up at all times...
Looking for rainbows or side-stepping an area where I might get pooped on by birds is easier to do when I don't have my head down at a screen. Seeing in front of me also helps avoid walking into things/people or falling through some kind of hole.

2. I refuse to be addicted to notifications, apps and silly games...
I'd rather use that time more productively, like to think about what I'll post next on Steemit.
3. A basic, "stupid" cellphone (for emergencies only) is good enough for me...
If you can't reach me by phone, try e-mail, pigeon post, telepathy...
Get creative; the possibilities are endless!
