‘Enough said about your birthday Whitney! It is just a birthday and nothing more.’ said a friend.
Oh well, for me it is a compulsory self-love period. Every other dealing is secondary and the people around me get the drift and that to me is precious.
I know self-love is a necessity daily but trust me I forget to care for myself most of the time but on my day and probably the week from that day I focus on myself.
Here is the second jumpsuit I made that could pass off as corporate wear.
Allow me to show you a step-by-step format for making a corporate jumpsuit.
These are the parts cut out to make a ruffled front puffy sleeve jumpsuit.
I cut out the front pattern of the top a few inches wider though the lining was exactly my measurement to make gathers and a ruffle on the front against its lining.
I sewed the lining to the back pieces as well.
I joined the front pieces of the trouser together after sewing the pockets to each part of the front pieces.
Joined the back pieces together.
Then bring the front and back pieces together.
Then joined the front and back pieces of the top part together as well.
Made the puffy sleeve with a folded 6 by 13inches hard net gathered together underneath it.
Finally, I attached all the parts, sewed a zip and weaved the loosed seams and...
Viola!
Thanks for coming this far. All pictures are mine taken with an iOS phone.
I hope my descriptions are helpful and feel free to ask questions.
