If we constantly require validation of our beliefs, choices & our appearance from an outside view just to feel more secure in ourselves, then we will always be seen as a perpetual show of blatant contradiction & irksome inconsistency through those exact same eyes. Because on a person by person basis we will be constantly trying to reshape & reform ourselves from the bottom up with every single interaction we have. All this just to try & fit neatly within each & every person's own individual preference of who we should be; with the ambition of gaining their acceptance.

But from my own personal experience I have found that this is an extremely misguided action that can all too often have the complete opposite effect, even risk us being perceived as deceptive or insincere. Because by trying to be everything to everyone, I honestly believe that all we will ever achieve is to further increase our insecurities & to deny ourselves the one chance we have of discovering who we really are.
