I touched down in Canberra and the first thing that hit me was the complete and absolute lack of energy.

It is a city built entirely to settle an old political argument, a giant spreadsheet masquerading as a capital.

You can literally feel that corporate, bureaucratic emptiness in the air.

By 8 PM, the entire place looks like a ghost town because the public servants have clocked out of their safe 9-to-5s, retreated to their sterile suburban bubbles and left the concrete monuments to rot in silence.

No friction, no raw street hustle, no chaos.

Nothing but a hyper-educated bubble of people playing a safe, vanilla simulator of life while collecting a guaranteed government check.

It is a total nothing city, a massive void where raw human ambition goes to get wrapped in red tape and slowly put to sleep.

Dane.
