The great coin CUP: Philharmonic Vs Liberty

So lets settle a few things..... Weve all got our personal preferences when it comes to "stacking" Precious Metals, but when all is said and done there can be truly only one!

We may have touched on this before, but i dont think weve ever gone in to this much detail and length to really discover which coin is the communities favourite.

The design of the Philharmonic gold coin is similar to that of previous years. On the front of each coin is the famous pipe organ in Austria's world renowned Golden Music Hall. The words 'Republik Osterreich' are written at the top of each coin. Beneath the image of the grand organ are the coin's weight of 1 Ounce, its fineness of 999.9, and its year of minting which is 2023. Each gold American Eagle features an image of Lady Liberty on the front. She carries a torch in one hand, and an olive branch in the other. The sun is rising behind her, and her dress and hair blow in the wind. The coin is encircled by 50 stars representing the 50 states of America. The top of the coin features the word 'Liberty', and to the right of her image is the year of minting. Each American Eagle gold coin contains 1 ounce of 99.9% pure investment grade gold bullion. We're now in to week three of this competition. With two very strong coins battling it out last week, to my suprise, the MEXICAN LIBERTAD scraped the narrowest of victories.

Do you agree with this result?? If not, you probably should have voted!! Regardless, the 1oz mexican Libertad Marches on to round two, where it will join the 1oz Canadian Maple.

This week we see Austria Vs America... Not many folks outside of the "stacking" community have even heard of the Austrian Philharmonic coin, but they definitely exist. But as far as globally recognised coins, you cant get much better than the goldmLiberry. So the question remains, for building a multi generational store of value, which one would you pick and why??
