23rd Mar. The glorious Disintegrator.
Each of us has access to it as part of our initiation into Splinterlands.
Seldom used in Novice and Bronze because of the accursed Standard Rules that plague lower leagues.
But there are many more opportunities for the Disintegrator to shine in Silver league and above.
Here’s a quick introduction to the mean killing machine.
You may find more detailed information within Splinterlands or here.
The rulesets given here were Super Sneak and Healed Out, with a 30 mana cap.
It is noteworthy that only the Water and Dragon splinters are available.
So personally, this is no doubt going to be an all-out melee brawl with my trusty Kelya Frendul.
This was a unique set-up that I had never used before.
The idea was to put Serpent of Eld at the back to absorb all the melee hits.
Disintegrator is chosen to counter melee support the survivability of the whole team.
Deeplurker because he’s the highest DPS in my Water team now.
You may have noticed that I put my Pelacor Bandit in the first position.
It’s crazy, isn’t it?
It’s the first time I’m seeing this too.
If I had more mana, I would have gone for a bigger tank like Diemonshark, but that’s a luxury here.
Beggars can’t be choosers when we have run out of budget.
By Round 3, my opponent has lost his back row support units.
My Pelacor Bandit is hanging by a thread, but my Serpent of Eld is going strong.
Maybe I should have swapped their positions?
By Round 5, it became clear that my team should prevail.
We definitely will out DPS whatever that is left of my opponent’s team.
You can catch the full battle here or here.
Since reaching Silver, the Disintegrator has been a reliable companion for heavy melee matchups.
Being a part of Chaos Legion means that its price is reasonable now.
Definitely recommend you to pick one up when you are playing in Silver and above!
