Time is your most precious resource. One of my coaches always stressed the idea you can at least be doing two things at a time to get better at your craft. Even walking around campus, we had to be squeezing hand grip exercisers, and Coach was definitely lurking around campus checking to see if you’re hand grips were at least in your hand. One of the worst things you could do to get on his bad side was to be caught on campus walking or talking without your hand grips.
On the other side, some processes refuse to be rushed. It doesn’t do any good to hound certain processes or rush them before they’re ready, for example, wet mud on drywall needs roughly a day to dry, and if you try sanding it before that, you just mess it up. Paint needs roughly a day and a half to dry properly. Move on to another section of the property to work while the processes that require patience are going on.
But your time is the biggest factor in your profit margin. Time is the one commodity that can’t be replaced.
