Every new year holiday.. and by that I mean, this up coming New Year, Chinese New Year(around February/March) and Thai New Year(April 12-15), my family always get together and hang out. By hang out, I mean, most of the time they play cards and I sit in front of a laptop just right by their circle lol
Anyways, one big part of this get-together is food and eating all together! This morning was chicken rice. Big pounds of shrimps for lunch. We have just finished the last meal of the day. Dinner was some homemade stuffs and it was delicious!
The greatest time is when you spend it with your most beloved ones..

This evening, my aunt made this rice soup and a few other types of food to eat along with it. Just the regular way we Asian eat, I suppose! All the food you see here is all made in house but the one up top on the left side, the chicken skin in the soup.. Now let's dive into some deliciousness! :D
Spicy fried egg salad
Deep fried salted fish
Stir fry salted turnip with egg
Deep fried pork balls
Spicy dry shrimps salad with shredded gingers
All that eaten with the nice warm / pretty hot rice soup.. to keep being warm when it's starting to get cooler in Thailand's winter (like, 24-27 degree Celsius lol) and even warmer when you have that many people surrounding the table and don't even have space to sit properly.

I will keep saying this.. because I also do hope for the great awesome year ahead..
