An Ice-cream spring roll is totally a type of food I had never seen elsewhere until I came to Taiwan. Ice-cream, peanut, cilantro, spring roll plate… really. First time was at Ningxia Night market and this was my second time at the local shop in the town called Chouzhou, Pingtung (Way down southern Taiwan). We were lucky enough that the owner of the shop was making the spring roll plates freshly at the time so yay! That was cool! The ice-cream we got also made by granny. She knows what she’s doing so.. Yum!
