Hola comunidad, hoy quiero compartirles estos 2 dibujos que realicé.
Personalmente me gusta mucho la cultura japonesa y es por eso que la mayoría de mis dibujos están relacionados con eso, desde caricaturas, series hasta paisajes y animales de allá.
Hoy me tocó dibujar y pintar estos gatitos, como pueden ver uno está practicando karate y el otro está saludando.
Hablemos un poco del primero, a este gato se lo ve muy tranquilo y en completa armonía, será porque ya está en un nivel más avanzado del karate o porque ha encontrado la paz mental, no lo sé jeje.
Si es así, le pediría que nos enseñe, además está usando su uniforme con su cinta. Antes de colorearlo, no sabía que color de cinta debería llevar, pero creo que por lo que les dije anteriormente podría tener una cinta de los últimos cursos.
Le puse el marrón porque es el penúltimo nivel donde se alcanza la madurez porque la persona es precisa y tiene autocontrol, tal cual lo demostró este gato.
Ahora pasando al segundo, podemos ver que igualmente se encuentra muy feliz, será porque cazó a ese pescado o porque también es un gatito de la buena suerte.
Por si no sabían, en Japón son famosos estos gastos que te saludan con la mano izquierada porque atraen a clientes, lo usan más para negocios, y podría decirles que sí funcionan.
En el negocio de mi mamá había uno de estos, de color dorado y con la misma expresión que la del dibujo, y su hubo muy buenas temporadas de ventas mientras el gatito estaba saludando a todos.
Se llama “maneki-neko” y se traduce del japonés como "el gato que invita a entrar" o "gato de la suerte". Además, que tienen diferentes significados si sube el brazo derecho o izquierdo o dependiendo el color.
Bueno espero les haya gustado los dibujos y hayan aprendido un poquito sobre la cultura de Japón.

Hello community! Today I want to share two drawings I created.

Today, I decided to draw and paint these little cats; as you can see, one is practicing karate while the other is waving.
Let's talk a bit about the first one: this cat looks very calm and completely at peace. Perhaps it’s because he’s reached an advanced level in karate or found mental clarity—I’m not sure, hehe.
If that’s the case, I’d ask him to teach us! He’s also wearing his uniform and belt. Before coloring him, I wasn't sure what color belt he should wear, but given what I mentioned earlier, I think a belt representing one of the higher ranks would be fitting.
I chose brown because it represents the penultimate level, where one achieves maturity through precision and self-control—qualities this cat clearly demonstrates.
Now, moving on to the second one: he looks very happy, too. Maybe it’s because he caught that fish, or perhaps he’s a "lucky cat."
In case you didn't know, cats that wave with their left paw are famous in Japan for attracting customers; they are often used in businesses, and I can tell you—they really work.
My mom’s business had one of these—a gold one with the same expression as the cat in my drawing—and there were some great sales periods while that little cat was waving at everyone.
They are called “maneki-neko”, which translates from Japanese as "beckoning cat" or "lucky cat." They also carry different meanings depending on whether they raise their right or left paw, or based on their color.
