We have recently received an unexpected parcel that was delivered to our door. We haven’t purchased anything recently so it was a bit unusual until we checked who the sender was and noticed that it was from hubby’s work. We thought ok, that’s pretty nice of the company to send their employees something while they worked from home. Wonder what it is though. Let’s take a look at what’s inside!
The box had “FRAGILE” written all over it which got us even more curious as to what’s inside. My first guess was company merchandise that they get yearly but that wouldn’t come in a small box and be fragile.
We opened it up to find instructions of how to plant a succulent. I guess many people are into growing their own things during isolation that the company is encouraging it and also giving their employees a little fun activity while at home.
Behind the card is a little notice to let them know that they’ve ranked #21 in the Best Places to Work in Australia. Yes, it’s not top 10 or anything but I would say it’s good encouragement and positive vibes they’re sending out during tough times.
Removing all the things on the top and our eyes first glued onto something... can you guess what it is?
Hehehe yes!! A bag of goodies!! They’re all so mini and cute! Hubby felt a bit sad seeing the Smarties box broken hahaha
Here’s the kit for the succulent. It comes with seeds, a pot, gloves, soil and pebbles. Hubby has no interest to grow this so it’s more like a parcel for me...
We think it’s really good of the company to send some encouragement and positive vibes to the employees during this time. It does end up being something different and a surprise while you’re working from home and also when you least expect it.
I actually can’t wait to have a bit of time to myself where I can sit down and start potting the succulent. Hopefully I can share more of this with you in the future.
