This is my first modern asian romantic comedy drama viewing but not the only one that has caught my attention.
It is about a girl, Yuan Qian (played by Yiren Song), who is starting her freshman year of university and the things she goes through in everyday life.
Her main goal, since she was reassigned to study sculpture, is to transfer to her desired course, oil painting. Her secondary goal is to get into a relationship so she will no longer be a professional single.
She, is assigned to a dorm room with three other girls, Luo Xin Xin (played by Liya Cui), Lu Jia Ning (played by Yana Zhang), and Xue Congyang (played by Li Lin Qian).
Several suitors are introduced but she has her standards and turns them down. That is until one of her classmates, Qin Shen (played by Chaoyuan Deng) accidentally knocks her into a lake while she is on her way to the transfer exam. Qin Shen is not quick enough to rescue her and she is picked up by the sculling teams captain, Song Si Yi (played by Runze Wang).
Upon returning to his dorm, Qin Shen is admonished by his roommates, Chen Qinan (played by Kefan Chen) and Yi Ming (played by Zeyuan He) for not helpingYuan Qian.
There are a lot of twists and turns and hilarious moments (like the ending scene of episode one). Over all in my opinion, it is one of the better asian series I have seen. The ending does not leave you asking questions.
