Memories of Steemfest 2!

I received the most awaited SMS yesterday!

I'm sure you can guess what would be the most awaited SMS at this moment:

It read:
"Your VISA Application has been processed and is ready for collection."

For a moment, I was happy but then I read the text message again.

They just mentioned "processed" but nothing about "getting the VISA". I started to overthink: "what if it was just sent back the way it is?" and at the same time the other mind was saying "Naah, it will come back with VISA stamped on it, don't worry man!"

I decided to not waste my time worrying about it and went on with my work.

After a few hours of receiving this message, my passport was collected by my agents and they sent me a picture of it. There it was: The Schengen Visa in all its glory. I felt relieved.

I would be able to travel to SF3 after all!

But it didn't end there.

That was just the Step 1 of the process.

Now I'd have to work on confirming the itinerary, flights, hotel bookings, exchange cash etc etc.

Travel comes with its own set of responsibilities.

But that's the fun of it.

Atleast I can now proudly sport @rubencress' "Meet me at Steemfest 3" banner!

Anyways, the title mentions "Memories of Steemfest 2" and by now you might now be wondering where are the memories he is talking about?

Here they go:

First one coming straight from LX Factory with my buddy @varunpinto! What a crazy time we had there. Loved going through sketches, paintings and photography created with passion by Steemians at Art at Steemfest. Good job by @everlove, @saramiller, @quinneaker and team!

I hope you guys didn't miss going to this place and enjoying a beautiful sunset during SF2! If you did miss however, you may feast your eyes on these pictures :P

How can we forget the yummy pancakes made for us by @roelandp's brother! I was standing near the stall most of the day and was busy hogging so I didn't even bother clicking any pictures!

I have to admit that the order in which I have uploaded the pictures is wrong. But does the order really matter as long as the pictures succeed in refreshing our memories?

The person in between reminds us of Ed Sheeran! Too bad I forgot his username though.

@pjo's probably the youngest guy (16) who attended Steemfest 2 and he travels around the world with his camera. Hats off dude! He's joining us this year too.

Fellow crew @razvanelulmarin. We'll miss him this year as he won't be making it to SF3. See you next year dude!

Big thanks to @roelandp for taking the charge to organize such a huge event. It isn't at all an easy task to put together an event of such magnitude and @roelandp always happens to do it successfully with a chilled mood as if it was such an easy job.
