Wow, steemit has been a journey. It was last year in January 2018 that I was introduced to this platform by @jaraumoses.

Every thing was new to me , I was afraid how to make friends and also at the same time what to write. One thing I recall was starting to comment to others posts and that's how I would be exposed and make friends. Day by day I would do that before I even did my introduceyourselfpost.

By the way thanks to all who supported and loved me and upvoted my posts. I was encouraged to continue being on steemit. One of the things that moved me even more is the love people had for the community and the support they rendered to others. This to me was motivating even if I didn't really understand it.

Little by little I learnt about powering up. I remember powering up with my first payout of SBDs...hahaha..👏👏what a passion!

Up to now, I am still learning about the blockchain and how it works, but just know that steemit is amazing. Some times I have posted many posts, some months I went silent because I felt like I didn't have what to write. I know some of you have been there before.

I have realised that steemit needs patience and love for others. Isn't about oneself but about others. Its about stepping out to meet the needs of the community. I am glad that through steemit, my life has changed in the way that I have discovered that there are genuine people whom some one can relate with even when they have never seen each other.

Another thing is that I would love to extend my sincere thanks to all the @teamuganda for the good work and keeping our uganda tag on top. You guys have been awesome and I want to appreciate your hard work and efforts. Also our steemit ambassador @yohan2on, you can check out his posts, he is an amazing guy who is transforming peoples lives using steemit.

I remember the days I would be discouraged and lose morale of even posting and commenting. I can tell you. Many times the internet (Data) is very expensive and so would be a big hindrance to have access to internet.

I can forget when I had just began that I didn't have a good smartphone to enable me write posts, I would struggle through and through. Some times the phone should shut suddenly. However, steemit is a journey indeed. One made a year and wow ussshhhhh!!!!!!!

And my journey continues and my vision is to introduce many young people on this platform and help my country come out of poverty. I believe with steemit, poverty can be dealt with seriously.

I hate poverty. Thanks steemit for contributing to my success story in life.
