I'll be totally honest with you I wasn't going to watch this Docuseries...
Then I spoke to a friend who had watched some of the episodes and she
was pretty upset with what she had seen...
On top of that I was hearing a little buzz on this Docuseries and I decided to watch it...
I watched the very first episode and I was disgusted. I wasn't going to watch
the rest ( there's a total of 6 episodes on Lifetime ), because I don't really spend too much
time watching negative shows. But as I kept on hearing different things about the shows,
I eventually broke down and watched the rest of the episodes...
Needless to say with every episode I became more infuriated. I couldn't believe all that I watched.
It was very upsetting...
Long story short my thoughts...
This Docuseries really shared a lot of light on R Kelly. If 50% of what I watched was accurate, this
man needs to be dealt with. I want to be clear, I do not know if this man is 100% guilty but what
was showed doesn't leave too much wiggle room to think any other way. The Docuseries show, stated R Kelly
had sexual relations with minors, did mental and physical abuse to young females (minors) and weak women.
I mean, this was something else. Very sad...
These women, who once were the minors that dealt with R Kelly, shared their stories. Each story was horrific.
As you watch this, you had no other choice but to think about your female family members and friends. Praying that they would never get caught up in things of this nature...
I would encourage every parent to watch this Lifetime Docuseries. It will put into perspective, that you really need
to understand what your children is watching and who they are idolizing. Grab your children, hug them and let them know you love them. If you don't someone else will.
