The summer , for most is almost over. Kids are back in school, while others are preparing for school next week...
My summer was filled with a lot of change / challenges. Moving to a new place, change is good right? But seven days of moving into the new place my mom passed away. Part of the reason why I moved was to reduce my current expenses ( that was the quickest way ), so I would be able to spend more quality time with her. Then 45 days after that, my Uncle passes away ( my mother's sister's husband ), wow, what a summer...
During this period, my business suffered. With moving I took time off. With the death of my mom I took a little time off, but couldn't focus. When you are your own boss, there is no sick days, no grievance time, but you are human. You can't focus with so many changes, which in effect if you are not focus you can't generate adequate revenue.
But something about a new month makes you feel like you have a new beginning, a new start. Especially the month of September, because you are coming off the relaxation of the summer. Now it's time to put it into gear. Furthermore, usually September starts the trend of how your year will end.
