Here are two for one, and the art is mine...
A NEEDLE DRESSING FOR EMERGENCIES
And now, cough-cough, ladies and gentlemen let me introduce you to the next moment that comes now; and there it goes, look, stretching to the moon, and leaving me coughing in the dust of its passing.
Catch you next time I said after it.
Don’t hold your breath for too long then, came a reply that was drawing on empty in that place where the hero comes home to be saved.
I was swaying in the trees and hoping the next rumba would be the one where I would forget everything and squeeze my way home somehow to surrender, everything.
OK, I understand, I said to my soul that was hanging on for dear life to my every word that I was saying; while everywhere I looked there were grave concerns to pay my attention to.
I took a moment out from all this to take stock or something, and then just had to have a smoke to take my mind away from it all and let the new thoughts through.
They came out as if they’d been in prison for a hundred years or more and shaded the light from their faces and ran in all directions to escape.
Seeing this I gave commands to all the servants to run and save the day or all would be lost.
The servants gave gallop with their hands and knees, and blew kisses to the wind as they charged along into the countryside, where they became immune from all their sorrows and grew wings to take them away for a moment where their heart’s delight would bear fruit.
LOOK WHAT I’VE FOUND IN THE BUTTERWORTH ROAD AREA, WEST LONDON
This next one was found wandering around the Butterworth road area, west London with a pocket full of finding in one hand and a note in the other that said: so I decided it was time to write home and see if there was any love going spare, when suddenly I came across this, this brimstone thing that was flaming away in my mind and calling me names and stuff and making me go blind too.
Well, I just had to take out my address book and try to match up the serial numbers; but there were too many so I had to give up on that; but there were many other things grabbing my attention; and, as they all came I wrote them down in this note that you will receive in 21 days from now, give or take 21 days more or less, or so, from now.
Most confusing, said the man lost in the Butterworth road area of west London with the note clutched in his hand.
And then, suddenly stricken, he wailed to the heavens to see if there was anyone watching that could save him; but finding no-one looking, he carried on into all he was searching for, and bruised his moustache most daring along the lines of his journey that was winding up the clock of time to go bang; bye, bye.
