Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un poco como termine decorando mi nuevo hogar. Un pequeño departamento en la capital de Argentina.

Today I want to share with you a little bit about how I ended up decorating my new home. A small apartment in the capital of Argentina.
Como todo departamento que alquilas, este estaba totalmente vacío y sin ningún tipo de decorado. En mi casa tenía unos lindos cuadros, pero no sabía como iban a quedar. Así que lleve algunos cuadros pintados por mi amiga Caro, que es artista plástica y me hizo un par con los temas que yo había elegido. 😍
Like every apartment you rent, this one was completely empty and without any decoration. I had some nice paintings at home, but I didn't know how they would look. So I brought some paintings painted by my friend Caro, who is a plastic artist, and she made me a couple with the themes I had chosen. 😍
¡Cuando comencé a llenar la pared, me di cuenta de que estaban quedando geniales! Cada cuadro que le pedí que replicara tenía algún motivo especial. Generalmente, cuando íbamos a comer algo, yo veía algún cuadro de un restaurante, por ejemplo, y le decía a ella que me encanto tal cuadro. ¡Caro le sacaba una foto y a la semana lo tenía en mis manos! 😮
As I started filling the wall, I realized that they were turning out great! Each painting I asked her to replicate had a special motif. Usually, when we were going out to eat, I would see a painting from a restaurant, for example, and tell her that I loved that painting. Caro would take a photo of it and within a week I had it in my hands! 😮
Además de los cuadros, una amiga que vive a solo 3 cuadras de mi nuevo hogar me regalo los sillones. Ahora podía poner mi hermosa guitarra en ella. La decoración de mi departamento estaba quedando mejor de lo que esperaba. 🤗
In addition to the paintings, a friend who lives just 3 blocks from my new home gave me the armchairs. Now I could put my beautiful guitar on it. The decoration of my apartment was turning out better than I expected. 🤗
El único problema que tenía con esto era un pequeño ser peludo de ojos azules que andaba dando vueltas por ahí. Sí, mi pequeño gato siamés Bartolo, le encantaba clavar sus uñas en los cuadros cuando vivíamos en la casa de mis padres. ¿Ahora que estamos solos... lo volverá a hacer?...🤔.
Por las dudas puse todo a una gran altura para que no llegara... por lo menos por ahora. 🤭
The only problem I had with this was a little furry blue-eyed creature that was wandering around. Yes, my little Siamese cat Bartolo, he loved to dig his claws into the pictures when we lived at my parents' house. Now that we're alone... will he do it again?...🤔.
Just in case I put everything up high so he wouldn't reach it... at least for now. 🤭
