How prepared can one be? Death is all we can be sure of. Insurances know and yes, I do have one that should burn we after I am finished. If that will happen? I doubt it. At least once a year they tell me what it will cost me to be buried in the area I am living (who says I want to be underground at a place I've never been? It's already weird enough that people visit a grave to remember someone dear to them. As if the one who's passed away last rest in peace place is the most favourite one. Why not go to the park, visit the beach, a place where the deceased loved to be or would have liked to be?

Look what a lovely spot. True, it's most likely not allowed to dig your own grave over here, and if so you can't be buried because it's illegal. Imagine your spouse is doing you a favour and a dog finds your bone, next the police will arrive, of course, an investigation, you are the first suspect, and even if they find the last will they will not believe it's written by the deceased since let's be fair most of us no longer write with a pen and handwritten text will not be recognized.
I don't think I will dig my own grave though it's fine to end up next to my beloved wolf in the back of the garden. I am sure I mentioned that before and who knows it's possible with the war next door. Once war no one will come collecting bodies or cares where to dump them. One big grave or one heap of corpses set at fire. If that's the case no one dig or ask how, what, why or when.
