The night was so bright, decorated with the moon and a sprinkling of stars, the sky was so happy that night. The atmosphere at night is so crowded, the sound of people and vehicles passing by in a city known as the "City that Never Sleeps," Jakarta. Precisely at the National Monument, a building that is the hallmark of the city of Jakarta. Land Mark Jakarta is one of the favorite places to visit in Jakarta when you come home from work. The Monas Monument looks more beautiful at night. The colorful light of the lights that are lit along with the beauty makes this place even more enchanting. Besides that, we can also breathe fresh air, sit with our crush or friends while looking at the magnificent monument building which was built in an area of approximately 80 hectares and was architected by Frederich Saliban and R. M Soedarsono. And this makes the mind fresher, of course.

I looked at Eric with a concerned expression half mocking

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Ask Eric

While continuing to stare intently at her face, I replied curtly, “I'm really worried that your life force and ability to survive will be drained from you after you get married and have a household with Siska. Listen, I'm telling you, marriage is an end."

"I guess that's a start"

"Apocalypse Tragedy"

"Precisely Rebirth"

"Restraint and bound"

"No, married life is Structure. Married life is possible to have a family. Who wants to die alone huh? You philosophical freak." replied Eric.

These children of philosophy, instead of helping with capital or finding work for marriage, they give lectures.

"Everyone wants to live happily. There is nothing wrong with that. People work, work, shop, do their hobbies, pursue wealth and love because all of these are thought to make them happy. The pursuit of happiness is even recognized as a basic right and protected by the constitution in Indonesia." America. However, what exactly is 'happy'? What is the essence of happiness? Is it with a lot of money? With a lot of possessions? And what is success? Which one should prioritize between success and happiness? Isn't success not necessarily happy? You know Efictetos, the ancient Greek philosopher? happiness for him as in his motto. "It is enough for me to be happy to live with the earth, sky and a robe." Or the words of his teacher, Musonius, "A happy soul is one that always climbs towards natural objects, flowing as it is. , which we usually want to resist more and more.” Isn't it complicated? Most philosophy children are like that. Especially if you dare to ask, "When did you get married?" It's going to be a very long lecture. very annoying.

Eric and I always spend the night under this monument building. Talk about anything, the future, college, work plans, crush.

The morning is the beginning to start all activities. Everyone wants to start the morning in their own way. But not everyone can enjoy the morning as usual. In the city of Jakarta, enjoying the morning may be different from other areas. Maybe because the busy city of Jakarta makes the morning not so familiar to the people who live here. Busy people doing activities, work and other things forget them about the benefits and beauty of the real morning. In my opinion, morning is the best atmosphere to enjoy, take a little time to refresh the body, maybe if people are busy with activities, morning might be a solution or a way to reduce the burden. That's just an estimate that I think is good.

Today we go to campus. There are only 15 people in our class. The class atmosphere is very diverse, some are busy wearing make-up, some are snacking, some are listening to music, some are chatting giddily. Mrs. Salsabila has arrived, our eyes are focused on her.

"Good afternoon children." Mrs. Salsa says hello

"Afternoon mother," we answered in unison

"Okay, let's start the lesson, please open the module book page 123. Listen and pay close attention, today we will study one branch of Psychology, namely Mass Psychology. Mrs. Salsa was silent for a moment, then continued "First of all, as an introduction, I want to quote Hegel, he said "I am free and intelligent when I am with myself." Do you guys know who Hegel is?”

“Hegel with his full name Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel. A German philosopher." I answered quickly while raising my hand.

"Right. Hegel is one of the German philosophers whose ideas became the inspiration for Karl Marx.”

"Diva, you're a fan of philosophy, ma'am," Eric joined in
"Huuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" all friends cheered me.

"Alright, let's continue the lesson. MASS PSYCHOLOGY. Mrs. Salsa continued, “Mass psychology is a branch of science that studies the soul of a large group of people, both visible and invisible. This branch of psychology deals with the behavioral and thought processes of both the members of the masses and the masses themselves.”
“Up to this point, can you understand children? Mrs. Salsa asked first before continuing the discussion.

"Understood ma'am" we answered awkwardly.

“The psychology of the masses is often influenced by the loss of one's responsibilities and views of universal behavior; both increase according to the amount of mass. To be clear, I will give a case in the Era of Al Hallaj, this case took place during the seconds that Al Hallaj was sentenced to death. The story of Husain ibn Mansur or as he is often called al-Hallaj is adapted from the book The Land of Sufis by Mojdeh Bayat and Muhammd Ali Jamnia.

The case is as follows:
"The crowd started pelting al-Hallaj with stones. However, when Syibli threw flowers at him for the first time, al-Hallaj felt pain. Someone asked, "You don't feel the pain of being stoned, but the sheet of a flower makes you sick why?
Al-Hallaj replied "Ignorant and stupid people can be forgiven. It's hard to see Syibli throw because he knows he shouldn't have done it."

“With this case example, can it be understood? Or is it even more complicated? Well. If it's more complicated. I will simplify according to your own view. Of course you may agree or not.
“When a scientist or professor stands or sits in a crowd of people, then in Mass Psychology, his intellectual or spiritual intelligence will decrease according to the crowd. Whether it's because of the loss of one's responsibilities and views on universal behavior or out of compulsion; both increase according to the amount of mass. As happened to Asyshibli his teacher friend Al Hallaj."

Do you believe in Mass Psychology Theory? If not, so that the theory is proven correct, please try it directly. Suppose you, Eric, is a scholar of Philosophy and Sufism."

"Don't let me be the example, ma'am, just the Diva, she really likes these two sciences," Eric offered
“Oh yes, I forgot that in our class there are young philosophers in the 21st century. Alright Diva, regarding the proof of this MASS PSYCHOLOGY theory, your intelligence on these two sciences, whether you are not aware of it or because you are forced to, will decrease drastically when you talk to mothers about topics such as getting married. And, if you continue to live in a crowd of people, your beginning and end will oscillate in the general reality and idealism that you derive from experience or knowledge.

"That's right, isn't it, the Diva admits that she is a platonic who refuses to marry, let her discuss with her mother." Arsya classmate joins in

The class was filled with laughter. And finally the lesson was over, we went back to our respective next agenda before heading to our respective homes. On the street, Eric kept mocking by saying, "Let's try, friend, what is offered by Mrs. Salsa, this is also to prove the truth of the theory, you know, you like things like this, you also often say, "the truth of the contents of a book must be proven on the field." Come on, it's time for you to prove this theory, but be careful, your idealism about platonic and anti-marriage will fall in front of your mother's argument. Hahahahaha” Eric laughed in satisfaction and let go.

The End
