I was thinking the other day about barter economy and although it's inefficient it does have many advantages.
Barter economy makes it so you have to be well connected within community to get be able to transfer your units of value within the neighbourhood. Strong community = less likely to be dominated by tyrants.
Also it forces people to become productive producers - ain't no silly corporate welfare jobs in a barter economy - you got to actually produce something people want
Currency, although it makes things efficient also centralizes things by its very nature. True decentralization is barter
In a barter economy its not really that there's no currency, currency can ebb and flow. In the summer currency could be fertilizer and in winter currency could be rock salt
Maybe no money is the way 2 go lol
