Hi everyone,
I am a week and three days old on this platform, Steemit. Still learning how to go by, and still trying to go by the rules of game. It hasn't been a jolly good ride, but I am learning. And I think with persistence and hard work, I will get there. In my own little way , i have been promoting steemit, talking to my friends about steemit and its benefits. Like I said in my introductory post, I love reading , but still trying to master my writing skills. I haven't really written much . This platform is a challenge for me , to master the art of writing.
Most times i'm online, I go to the feed section, read through people's post, to upvote or maybe comment. I have read some very interesting post here , we also have lots of creative people on this platform. I also came to notice that, there are a lot of post, that the writer, might have spent hours trying to build, but after posting, it gets very few vote or none at all.
There is something I believe, if you want someone to do better or put in his best, you need to motivate or encourage the individual. That is why in most organization today, if you want your employee to put in more effort, you should be willing to give more, in form of benefits, incentives and the likes.
Maybe there is some sought of competition here in steemit, which I am yet to find out. Maybe when you upvote someone, it reduces your steem power😞
There are some professional writers here, some have learnt the art of writing, for some, its inborn, but ,my word to them, is that, everyone, can't be a pro ,like you. Some of us, amatuer, are still crawling😀😁, but will definitively get there someday. I am out for any suggestions that might help. Thanks for taking out time to read this.
