Hello Hivers!!

Happy end of the week, everyone.. ☀️

In the Philippines, especially in rural areas, it is a customary practice to raise chickens, ducks, and other livestock specifically for special events, like birthdays, New Year, Christmas, and most especially for town fiestas. People also plant vegetables and fruits for everyday consumption.

My house is just beside my mom's and my brother's. Whatever we have, they can have too. We share almost everything, from the water source, electricity, Wi-Fi, and even food.. My brother raises chickens while my mom and husband grow fruits and vegetables.

Anyway, here are some of my brother's new chicks. They're already more than a week old. They are raised for my birthday in January. 😁

We have bigger chickens for this month's fiesta and some for my husband's birthday next month. We also have a few months old for Christmas. We only have a small space for raising animals, so I hope we can add more in the future, like ducks and goats.

That's all for today. Thanks for dropping by 🌿
