Having finished watching:

I have now finished the whole Monogatari Series.
It was a trip.
Trippy?
Really this is the best description I can come up with. Also, sex. The whole series uses Shaft's surrealist avant-garde style. Besides being a story of youth, one of the more interesting implications is the modern Japanese bridging of spiritualism and quantum physics. Interestingly enough, the placebo effect, along with the fact that the observer influences the observed, are all complimentary with polytheistic spiritualism, and in this specific case, the Shinto-Buddhist-Taoist soul of Japan. Nothing makes this more clear than the last episode of the series.
