This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
A few meters from my daughter's residence, I discovered the existence of an abandoned house. When I mentioned it to her, my 8-year-old granddaughter Nyara told me that it was her old daycare center.
I asked her if she wanted to take some photos at the location and we quickly started throwing ideas around and getting ready. Decades ago I had done a photoshoot with my younger cousin (he was 12 at the time) in our great-grandmother's abandoned house. Years later I saw some similar images in the film Blair Witch Project.
I talked to her and we decided on the type of images we wanted.
She took care of her makeup and clothing herself.
It was a quick session, children don't have much patience, but she incorporated the character and in the end, we were very happy with what we achieved...
I share with you the result of our game.

A poucos metros da residência da minha filha, descobri a existência de uma casa abandonada. Quando comentei com ela, minha neta Nyara de 8 anos, me diz que se tratava da sua velha creche.
Perguntei a ela se queria fazer umas fotos no local e rapidamente começamos a jogar ideias e nos preparar. Décadas atrás eu tinha feito um ensaio com meu primo mais novo (na época ele tinha 12 anos) na casa abandonada da nossa bisavó. Anos depois vi algumas imagens similares no filme Blair Witch Project.
Conversei com ela e decidimos o tipo de imagens que queríamos.
Ela mesma se encarregou da sua maquiagem e vestimenta.
Foi uma sessão rápida, crianças não tem muita paciência, mas ela incorporou a personagem e no fim, ficamos muito felizes com o que conseguimos..
