The first time I read it, I read quickly and got a vague picture in my mind of where Ekereobong might have been: the light level seems low, dim, shadowy.
I must confess that your perception and imagination of thoughts and word is great. You have a way of thinking in the mind of the playwright or or novelist.
Back then in school, I could remember my lecturer teaching us that every literary critic needs to have an invisible eyes and ears (tentacles) that can penetrate a literary writer's thought so to know what was the mood or tone of the writer when composing his thoughts. In view of this, I must confess that you've got me there.
Thank you for dropping by, do well to come see the truth about Ekereobong's plight.
Do have a nice nice day, God bless you.
