One of these mornings at the hotel where I work, I came across a shadow that immediately caught my attention. It was cast by a decorative object, a kind of vase made of steel wires, or perhaps a sculpture designed to resemble one.
What interested me was not only the object itself but the intricate shadow it projected on the ground. The sunlight passed through the metal structure and transformed it into a pattern of lines and shapes that seemed much more complex than the decoration from which it originated. For a moment, the shadow became more interesting than the object.
These days, being away from my family and staying at the hotel for extended periods is not easy. Sometimes it feels like a kind of confinement, even if it is necessary because of the current circumstances. Fortunately, there are small moments like this one. A simple shadow, an unexpected image, can make us forget our worries for a few minutes and remind us that there is still beauty hidden in everyday life.

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, gracias a la amiga
Una de estas mañanas en el hotel donde trabajo, me encontré con una sombra que llamó mi atención de inmediato. Era la sombra proyectada por un objeto decorativo, una especie de jarrón hecho con alambres de acero o una escultura diseñada para imitar uno.
Lo que me resultó interesante no fue solamente el objeto en sí, sino la compleja sombra que proyectaba sobre el suelo. La luz del sol atravesaba la estructura metálica y la transformaba en un entramado de líneas y formas que parecían mucho más elaboradas que el propio adorno. Por un momento, la sombra se volvió más interesante que el objeto que la producía.
Por estos días, estar lejos de mi familia y permanecer durante largos períodos en el hotel no resulta fácil. A veces se siente como una especie de encierro, aunque sea necesario dadas las circunstancias actuales. Por suerte, existen pequeños momentos como este. Una sombra sencilla, una imagen inesperada, puede hacernos olvidar las preocupaciones durante unos minutos y recordarnos que todavía hay belleza escondida en la vida cotidiana.
