Ecdysis:what is this ecdysis??? All reptiles shed their skin,which is known as ecdysis. Snakes shed their skin in one layer including eye caps. Snakes rub into a rough surface to molt their skin. The molting of the skin occurs regularly in snakes. At least three times in a year. They molt their skin to remove the parasites which is attached to the old skin and also for further growth.
Yesterday when I went to my uncle's house saw this snake skin..as always clicked some pictures.
