Hola Hiverun Runners...
It has been a long time since my last post here. I had been so busy writing recently that I couldn't get out for a run. Now that I’ve finished the draft of my novel, I’m able to go running again—even if it’s just once a week.
This week, I actually managed to run twice at my favorite venue, the GBK Stadium. However, on the first day, my pace was very slow. I didn't want to push myself too hard because it felt too difficult, and my breathing was irregular. My pace was around 10, which didn't feel like enough to warrant a post. So, this post covers my second run.
I do a bit exercise, fastly then I ran for 30 minutes, but Strava only recorded 26 minutes; my internet connection was likely acting up.
I really enjoyed the run during the first lap, but it started to feel tough on the second lap, and I felt like giving up. However, I felt embarrassed—how could I not manage just 3 kilometers? So, I slowed my pace and just enjoyed the run. There was no music; perhaps that’s what made it feel so hard.
This week I am really happy because I have time to run in my favorite place. Surprisingly, my co-work now joined me, accompanied me to run. The weakness of being together with friends or someone who you know is about talking and buying a snack rather than running. It happened to me on the first day, so the next day I'm about to break a way and run alone until I do my distance.
Okay, next week I will do better than this week.
