Saludos amigos de stem social, deseo que tenga un feliz fin de semana. En esta ocasión les comparto mi visita a la concha acústica Luis Mariano Rivera, ubicada en Carupano, municipio Bermúdez, estado Sucre. Esta Concha acústica rinde homenaje a un destacado músico, cantante y compositor de la región oriental. En ella se realizan diferentes actividades culturales y recreativas enfocadas básicamente en la difusión del galerón la música tradicional de la región y que honra el legado de este destacado cantante. La concha tiene forma de corneta es de color blanco y en uno de los lados se ubica una foto del artista y al otro lado está decorada con instrumentos musicales.

Greetings, friends of Stem Social. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Today, I’d like to share with you my visit to the Luis Mariano Rivera Acoustic Shell, located in Carupano, Bermúdez Municipality, Sucre State. This acoustic shell pays tribute to a prominent musician, singer, and composer from the eastern region. Various cultural and recreational activities are held there, primarily focused on promoting galerón—the region’s traditional music—and honoring the legacy of this renowned singer. The shell is shaped like a trumpet, is white in color, and features a photo of the artist on one side, while the other side is decorated with musical instruments.
El piso parece un tablero . Pues tiene cuadrado de varios colores entre ellos amarillo , rojo y azul, es de concreto y cuenta con varios muros de protección que separan la concha de la oficina de espacios públicos. Cuenta además con un jardín en la parte frontal este tiene forma rectangular es de color gris y en él se observan varias plantas ornamentales muchas de ellas aún están en crecimiento y las otras han alcanzado un tamaño promedio que adornan, embellecen esta área de la concha, al lado derecho se ubica los baños y los salones de vestuario que son utilizados para cambiarse cuando se realizan presentaciones en esta concha. Además cuenta con un excelente ubicación pues en la parte posterior se ubica una playa lo cual agrega un entorno natural y agradable. También se puede disfrutar de las actividades culturales, conciertos entre otros. Es de mencionar, que podemos disfrutar la brisa del mar y observar el paisaje Marino. Hay también en la parte trasera varias palmeras ,arbustos ,entre otros , que le dan un estilo tropical a esta Concha. Su diseño es sencillo pero muy bonito. El día de mi visita el cielo se veía despejado creando un hermoso contraste con la concha la playa y las nubes.
The floor looks like a chessboard. It consists of squares in various colors, including yellow, red, and blue; it is made of concrete and features several protective walls that separate the office area from the public spaces. It also has a garden at the front; this is rectangular in shape, gray in color, and features several ornamental plants—many of which are still growing, while others have reached an average size that adorns and beautifies this area of the shell. On the right side are the restrooms and dressing rooms, which are used for changing during performances held in this shell. It also boasts an excellent location, as there is a beach at the back, which adds a natural and pleasant setting. You can also enjoy cultural activities, concerts, and more. It’s worth mentioning that you can enjoy the sea breeze and take in the ocean view. There are also several palm trees and shrubs at the back, among other plants, which give this shell a tropical feel. Its design is simple yet very beautiful. On the day of my visit, the sky was clear, creating a beautiful contrast with the shell, the beach, and the clouds.
Continuando mi recorrido por este hermoso espacio recreativo cultural se observa también la distribución del espacio y cómo fue pintado con cuadrados de varios colores este piso colorido lo hace resaltar e ideal para la realización de actividades donde participan niños y adultos. La concha además de ser un espacio para la recreación es un tributo al legado de este reconocido cantante en el Estado existen varios centros culturales que llevan su nombre. En cumaná el teatro en Cumaná, capital del Estado el teatro lleva el nombre de este destacado cantante hay incluso instituciones educativas con el nombre del cantante, también calles que le colocaron el nombre con el fin de homenajear al artista oriental.
Mi visita a esta Concha fue una agradable experiencia y me gustó el diseño y definitivamente mi parte favorita es la ubicación al estar cerca de la playa el paisaje es encantador y con un gran atractivo para quienes asisten a estas actividades. Pues además de su estadía en el espacio en el área de la concha tienen la oportunidad de dirigirse hasta el mar y observar la hermosa vista que esta ofrece especialmente en él atardecer. Luego de mi recorrido por esta concha continúe hacia otros lugares de la ciudad los cuales compartiré próximamente.
As I continue my tour of this beautiful cultural and recreational space, I also notice the layout of the area and how the floor has been painted with multicolored squares; this vibrant design makes it stand out and makes it ideal for activities involving both children and adults. The amphitheater, in addition to being a recreational space, serves as a tribute to the legacy of this renowned singer; there are several cultural centers throughout the state that bear his name. In Cumaná, the state capital, the theater is named after this prominent singer. There are also educational institutions named after him, as well as streets that have been named in his honor to pay tribute to the artist from the east.
My visit to this bandstand was a pleasant experience, and I liked the design; my favorite part is definitely the location. Since it’s near the beach, the scenery is charming and a major draw for those attending these events. In addition to spending time at the bandstand, visitors have the opportunity to head down to the sea and enjoy the beautiful view it offers, especially at sunset. After my tour of this Concha, I continued on to other parts of the city, which I’ll share soon.
