This time, I am going to tackle about one question that I have in my mind. It just crosses my mind unexpectedly and wants to share my ideas or thoughts via this blogging that I will make. This question is somewhat I just thought in a bit yesterday and it doesn't get out of my mind.
Anyway, It's a question about "Is college still important today?"... many would argue that people say that college is not important today or it may be important to others. For me, I do think that it's still important up until today because it gives us learnings from the instructors that we were facing.
Although, not all of the learnings or topics are useful when you were working because most of the times, people tend to do work outside their graduated field of study. Well, just like me today, I am an ESL worker but I graduated in a different path but it's still helpful in other ways considering that am able to walk through or easily adapt things in computers.
Well, there were people that uses their graduated program to apply for work and fortunately, they applied on what they were looking for. There were some that they got discouraged on applying for the job that was in line with their field of expertise and work in a different kind of job.
But going to college is much more expensive that you think it is, there were people that will not go to college because of the daily expenses that they will carry. Like the miscellaneous that is much higher than the tuition itself. Although, in our county, the tuition is free but not the other expenses.
Not everyone needed a college degree holder when working because I saw not a few but lots of people that were working and getting a higher position even if they don't have any college degree. Well, it's more of an advantage if you got a college degree because you were more knowledgeable with it or have a brief idea.
