Hello! Excited to be joining a group of like-minded individuals and be able to blog about my crazy bipolar life at the same time.
I call a small city in central Canada home, where I live with my husband, 2 dogs (shitzu and pom) and three crazy cats. I work from home supporting technical issues on apps for a major US company and I have been blogging (to myself) for about the last 4 years.
Travelling is one of my passions and have visited Cuba, the Dominican and Mexico numerous times as well as many locations in the US via plane and good old fashion road trips with my boys. I was also married 10 years ago in the Bahamas and hope to go back soon.
I am a mom to 2 grown boys who are now 18 and 20 and stepmom to three more great (adult kids) and my downtime is spent doing research on Bipolar 2 disorder so I can live a quality life with my family ( and help of lithium).
Being diagnosed with bipolar in my mid 40's and having to deal with my dad's death as well as bankruptcy due to my crazy spending habits has given me the opportunity to fall to the bottom and rise again.
I'm learning to enjoy life (without credit) and am amazingly embracing it at every turn, realizing that sometimes bad things happen to good people.
Just hoping to get my thoughts out of my head and into the computer, and the chance that someone else may read them and relate makes me super excited, so that is why I am....
