In ungefähr 3 Stunden ist es soweit. Dann sollte der neue HF21 auf der Steem-Blockchain von den Witnesses aktiviert werden.
Wow, ist spannend, da der HF21 einige große Veränderungen mitbringt, die ich in Summe positiv sehe.
Die Governance sollte sich mit dem neuen Steem Proposal System (SPS) verbessern und ermöglicht, dass einzelne Projekte durch die Blockchain finanziert werden.
Der Author/Curation-Anteil wird auf 50/50 umgestellt, was Steem Investoren-freundlicher machen sollte, und auch die Reward-Kurve wird leicht angepasst. Letzteres wird man erst in der Praxis sehen, was das bedeutet. Grundsätzlich bin ich eher ein Fan einer linearen Reward-Kurve, bin aber auf die Änderung gespannt.
Und dann kommt auch noch ein neuer Downvote-Pool und auch das 15-Minuten-Zeitfenster, bevor man den vollen Kuration-Reward bekommt, wird auf 1 Minute (update: 5 Minuten) gesenkt.
Insgesamt finde ich die Änderungen eine gute Sache und wenn es uns wirklich gelingt, die Bot-Problematik damit ein bisschen einzudämmen und Investoren-freundlicher zu werden, hat Steem mit dem Hardfork bereits gewonnen. Steem On.

In about three hours Hardfork 21 is going to be activated on the Steem blockchain by the Witnesses.
Wow, exciting times ahead, because the HF21 has some big changes, which I am looking forward to.
Governance should improve with the new Steem Proposal System (SPS) and allow individual projects to be financed through the blockchain.
The Author/Curation share will be changed to 50/50, which should make Steem more investor-friendly, and the Reward curve will also be slightly adjusted. The latter has to be seen in practice. Basically, I'm more of a fan of a linear reward curve, but I'm curious about the change.

Bottom line, I think the changes are a good thing for Steem and if we really manage to contain the bots a bit and make Steem more investor-friendly, Steem has already won with the new Hardfork. Steem On.
